Gratitude!

This is Celia C. Tillman, bringing you greetings and encouragement from the Honey-Comb of Praises.  Our lesson for today is GRATITUDE. Ladies, what is your state of mind at this time? Are you full of joy and are you giving thanks to God for the breath of life, and being able to see a new day with your eyes; to feast upon his goodness and kindness?  This awesome God who turns the midnight to daybreak, and in the spring, however, God provides rain and sunshine to grow beautiful flowers for us to enjoy and admire. Shelter In The Time Of A Storm

Jesus Was Born & Now He Has Risen!

JESUS WAS BORN AND NOW HE HAS RISEN

Ladies, it gives me a wonderful feeling to witness a newborn baby making its grand entry into the world.  The child is so lovely, and innocent; I wonder what shall become of him or her.  Will this child, when he reaches the age of understanding, continue to obey the teaching of Christ or will he follow the dictators of the world, or will he be killed by evil men for personal gain?  Some questions, however, may never be answered, but thank God we do know that we have a Savior who was born, and he died and now sits on the right hand of his Father in Heaven. What Are Your Beatitudes?

Love Regardless!

Today, we live in a society where we as mankind find it easy to love those who love us, but we have to very careful that we as Christians not have this same mind set. True Love

Ladies when I think of true love, my mind takes me back to the scripture in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Yes, God promised a life of being with him forever where there will be no more dying, no more pain, and tears, Revelation 21:1-4; when this body, (physical) is “dissolved, we have a building not made with hands,” II Corinthians 5:1. 4 Creative Ways to have Bible Study

Most Christians commonly go to Bible study on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening and some during the day.  However, teaching Bible study outside of those days on a personal level is a great idea and it allows you to reach out to those that might not have been able to attend regular Bible study or those who would like to learn more about God.

Below are 4 creative ways to get started!

1) Host An Online Bible Study.  There are many reasons to use technology, but I can think of no better way to use it than studying the Word of God! Google the phrase “Women’s Bible Study” and you’ll find numerous studies going on all over the world and there’s no reason why you can’t do it as well!  Simply start by asking some of your Christian sisters online if they would be interested in participating in an Online Bible Study.  Even if you get two to three people that’s a good start.
